Following on from earlier reports over at Kotaku which reported that specialist games retailer GAME has laid off up to twenty people, including executives and was planning to close a number of stores may now indeed be a reality.

Hot off the press from PAX 2010 comes news that a patch is being released for Borderlands around the same time as the upcoming DLC titled "Claptrap's New Robot Revolution".

It seems that Multiplayer is coming to Batman: Arkham City according to the latest issue of UK magazine PSM3, in which there is a feature claiming that "multiplayer is a certainty, but no details on this yet".

Earlier this year, Microsoft Australia announced a partnership with local pay-TV provider Foxtel that would let users stream subscription TV direct to their consoles. At the time, details were fairly scarce as to how the service would actually run, but at today's Microsoft open-house event in Sydney, the software publishing giant went into a little bit more detail about how the service would work.
