According to Sega's latest financial report Bayonetta has surpassed 1,100,000 units worldwide across both platforms.  That's certainly a solid effort by Sega.

Also of note for Sega was Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games which notched up 5,670,000 units across the Wii and DS and Football Manager 2010 with 740,000 units sold.

Lets hope with solid numbers like these, Bayonetta picks up a sequel over the upcoming years.
